MEET OUR TEAM
Founder of TriChicks
Amy created TriChicks in 2015 and brings over 9 years of coaching and racing experience. She holds a BSc Exercise & Sports Science, a Graduate Diploma in Physical Education/Health and is a Development Triathlon Coach. In 2018, Amy was awarded Club Coach of the Year from Triathlon Victoria. During her time as an athlete, she was named WA Triathlete of the Year in her age group for Short Course, qualified for both the Short and Long Course World Championships, and took out 2nd place in her first Ironman for her age group. Her mission is to help educate, empower and help women achieve their triathlon goals, and lower the barrier of entry for women to the sport.
Olivia joined TriChicks 2 years ago as a complete beginner. She has gone from not being able to swim to qualifying for the World Champs for both Sprint Distance and Half Ironman events. As well as being an athlete, Olivia manages the everyday operations of TriChicks and is one of the happiest people you will ever meet!
Jess is a Triathlon Coach for TriChicks, as well as an athlete herself in the main squad. Jess is not only a fantastic triathlete herself, she also has a passion for women’s health, and getting women into the sport. She works full time as a physiotherapist, so is happy to offer injury advice and support to the TriChicks Tribe. She joined TriChicks at the start of 2017 after finding she couldn’t find any like-minded athletes at local clubs, and found the friendship and support at TriChicks was exactly what she was looking for.

Taryn is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and Advanced Sports Dietitian. When she’s not running her own private practice, Dietitian Approved, she’s working with the Australian Triathlon and Para Triathlon teams (dream job!). She founded Dietitian Approved with a passion to help her clients get the most out of their health and performance. Taryn holds a number of impressive qualifications including a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics) Hons, International Olympic Committee Diploma in Sports Nutrition. ISAK Level 1 Anthropometrist and Certificate III Fitness
Strength for Endurance
Kriss is Strength & Performance Coach who works with a wide range of individuals, from casual weekend runners to Professional Triathletes. Immersed in the world of endurance athletes, his main aim is to deliver the benefits of strength training to the endurance community. His work centres around improving physical weaknesses and imbalances, whilst building upon existing athletic qualities, helping you get the absolute most out of your body through developing strength and minimising Injury.
Custom Bike Fit
Michael is an accredited ‘Retul’ bike fitter and has helped more than 2,000 triathletes improve their comfort, efficiency, power and run off the bike. He’s competed in well over 100 triathlons of varying distances, a 9 time Ironman with several top 10 age group finishes to his name. Michael bike fits people both 1-on-1 in person and globally with the aid of video analysis and Skype. His mission statement is to remain healthy, happy and have a positive impact on all those he meets.
