A 12 Month Triathlon Coaching Experience To Help You Achieve Your Most Successful Season
I've been hooked on the sport of triathlon for a while now, and had a couple of 70.3 and full distance ironman events under my belt before signing up for the Geelong Half Ironman. In the past I hadn't followed a structured program, but I wanted to change that heading into this race. The TriChicks Half Ironman Program gave me a tried and tested training method that I could have 100% faith in. I knew that if I followed it I would stand on the start line fitter, faster and stronger than I had been in previous races. And that's exactly what happened! I was over the moon with a 1 hour and 30 minute Personal Best! With PB's in every single discipline! I'm so grateful to Amy for not only making my race day result possible, but for making the lead up to it fun!

Trichicks is a community of women that I’m so thankful to be apart of. I put off joining for a while because I could barely swim 25m but after a couple of months with Trichicks and Amy being the magician she is, I am now swimming in open water comfortably. The culture and community is priceless and something that is hard to find. It is one of the best investments I have made!
As soon as I started Week 1 of my Half Ironman Program with TriChicks I knew I would make it to the finish line. While the program was definitely a big challenge, it was absolutely manageable and really suited to my ability level. In addition to preparing me physically for race day, the program really boosted my confidence mentally as well. By including race simulations throughout the build and reminding me to practice nutrition and hydration strategies in my sessions, I developed the belief in myself that I actually could achieve my goal. I exceeded my expectations on race day, finishing in 3rd place in my age group and qualifying for the 70.3 World Championships in South Africa later that year. Two achievements I definitely couldn't have accomplished without a tried and tested program to guide me there. I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU for being you and for doing so much for all of us involved with TriChicks! I would hate for you not to know just how much of a difference you have made in my life, and I am sure in many others too. You have created something truly special, it has had a massive impact on me and I feel so lucky to be a part of it!
When I first joined TriChicks, 200m seemed like a long way to run. Even though I had always wanted to do a triathlon, I was way too scared that I wouldn’t be able to do the run leg. A friend encouraged me to join the TriChicks Beginner Course, I loved it so much I got hooked on the sport. A year and a half later Coach Amy encouraged me to to sign up for my first Half Ironman. A massive goal for anyone, let alone someone who used to struggle running even 1km! For 16 weeks I stuck to the program, I trained consistently and crossing the finish line with my training buddy of my first half ironman is something I will never forget. I am so grateful to Amy and the TriChicks for their amazing programs and support!
The training videos are so valuable, especially in the lead-up to race day! The transition and race day ones were particularly useful for me and answered any questions I had or was feeling anxious about. I loved being able to learn about triathlons in an easy-to-follow step-by-step program. It is so great to be able to view my training program and content all in one place. Thanks to Amy I have completed both Sprint and Olympic distance triathlon events! Highly recommend!
I started my triathlon journey in the TriChicks Beginner Triathlon Course and loved it so much! Shortly after completing my first triathlon, I signed up to the Intermediate Sprint Triathlon Program and took 12 min off my previous time with a Personal Best in each discipline! The next season I progressed to the Advanced Sprint Triathlon Program and again took another 8 min off my time and qualified to represent Australia in my age group at the Sprint ITU World Championships! I have the Amy to thank, not only for the gains I made in triathlon but also helping me achieve things I did not think were possible!
